Pure Fyre is a very clever story! The characters are well thought-out and easy to relate to, even though they're totally different from any others in any story I've read or seen. Normally, you can guess at what may happen next in a book, but not in Pure Fyre. Every page is a new twist that you didn't see coming, and is unpredictable. Once you begin to read it's difficult to put down. In addition, it's very entertaining and interesting, with ingenious creatures and exciting exploits. I look forward to a sequel, at least one!

"Pure Fyre draws you into a world bursting with characters both courageous and corruptible.  A world where each individual’s journey is made only more perilous as the shadowy veil of evil attempts to thwart them at every turn.  It is a story so well imagined and realized that you feel you are travelling alongside each character, witnessing their fateful courses collide with one another.
From the humorous banter between characters to the breath stealing scenes of battle, the story grabs you and doesn’t let go until the final page.  And by then you’ll be wishing to hear more tales about those who reside in the land of Curnen. I hope to devour more stories from this author that are as amazing as this."

"Pure Fyre immediately draws you into a world full of friends and foes you never knew you had. Wrapped in words of wonder and mystery, you have no choice but to stay up all night reading toward the ending you never want to come! Anticipate finding yourself reading Vetovich’s tale multiple times to accompany old friends on a journey that never ceases to amaze."

I really enjoyed it. It was a nice read, the story line flowed really well, I was never bored with it, so it was super engaging. There were a lot of things I wasn't expecting, and the plot was not predictable at all, I truly had no idea how three seemingly separate stories were going to tie together, but KristaLyn pulled it off, and really well at that!

Dreams, prophesies and special abilities like mind reading, are what initially draws you in. An ordinary man dealing with elves, trolls, sprites and dragons, all that while fighting for his life and his kingdom, are what keeps you turning the pages, wondering what else could possibly happen next? Add to that some romance and humor, and you will find yourself highly anticipating the next exciting adventure this young author will bring to you!

KristaLyn is a wonderful author. She takes you on a mystical, magical journey from the very minute you start reading. I normally wouldn't think I'd get so involved with castles and dragons but I picked it up and then I couldn't put it down! It flows so well. Her writing is amazing. Get yourself a copy you won't be let down. Her best work yet and I am sure many more to come. Check out her other works as well, you won't be disappointed.

I started reading this book while reading another, but Pure Fyre quickly prevailed. The writing is done in a way that pushes the reader to asking "well, what now?!" and stopping becomes really hard! I could not put this down, and even after the final page, I wanted to know what happens next. You will fall in love with each character and will find yourself really rooting for them with each turn of the page. I want a book #2...and if you read this book you'll agree!

Kristalyn Vetovich brings you on a perilous journey in her book, Pure Fyre. A journey of friendship and danger. A journey to bring balance to the world, but mainly to bring balance to oneself. Pure Fyre is an amazing piece of literature with twists and turns, making you not want to put the book down. Highly recommended read for any age.

KristaLyn A. Vetovich, a Paxinos young fantasy author and missionary whose fifth work, "Pure Fyre", is a high fantasy novel of two kingdoms on the brink of ruin and the two men - one a king, one anything but - who must find a way to bridge their fates and re-awaken an ancient power before war, darkness, and dragonfire consume their world.

Boldness of conception and sheer originality - Once inside the realm of Gelyfed, fantasy which is consistent and so entirely compelling within itself, we soon learn that "According to legend... the [re-animated] dragons only move when peace must swiftly be restored" and although Gelyfed, itself, is not a perfect society at present, it is stable. So "the problem must be under the eyes of the dragon Gaernod", Eofyn announces to those assembled before him and as " The room fell into heavy silence" the author had for me already established a sense of unease; the looming mayhem to befall the realm of Gelyfed. Spyre, the central protagonist, though hesitant about leaving such a realm, finds within himself the ultimate calling to leave and I was rooting for both him and the survival of his domain against external threat, almost as I would against the survival of my own country and its survival against threat; so that there was, for me, far more than a narrative in a fantasy realm here but an analogy - if not an embedded prophecy - whether intended or not - for threats to the survival of mankind; granted that mankind is, historically, separated by different cultures and political borders. From the worlds of Gulliver's Travels to those of Tolkien, we have willingly suspended disbelief - and for good reason. For while these realms may not accord with familiar norms - and if they did there would be no escape from the tedium of reality - still, the reward in these works and so in KristaLyn Vetovich's "Pure Fyre" is the internal logic and consistency with which the characters who populate her realms relate to each other in their fascinating moors and cultures. Yes, the kingdom of Gelyfed and the dragons are not to be found in London's Hyde Park or New York's Wall Street; any more than the tiny people of Swift and the creatures of Tolkien's worlds but because of the methodical and powerful build of internal consistency in the narratives we can share in the realms; as I began to share in the threat of the reanimated dragons in Pure Fyre. I am not, generally, a reader of fantasy and yet, this author won me over to her genre because of her very individual way of building believable people in believable realms which, nevertheless carry an uncanny prophecy - or cautionary tale - for real societies and cultures across our world who could do well to read Vetovich. In her fantasy, there may indeed be prophecy of reality to come.
